I havent bought a subscription box for a while, partly because I havent seen one with a theme I like, and partly because a lot of my usual companies I buy with are now charging a mandatory 10 extra shipping for tracked shipping, which seems a little unfair to me as I was pretty happy with waiting it out for the standard shipping and I never had an issue.
If you are looking to get a taste of Japan and their snacks, try Japan Crate! I bought the May box back in April, and so I could get a free gift I bought a 3 month subscription. View ohnoitsjadecosplays profile on Facebook, Unboxing: ISpyKawaiiSuppliesKawaii MysteryBox. FEB 16.

They give you no advance notice that they will be renewing and will send you a screenshot of the checkbox that you were required to check as a condition to placing the inital order. I actually almost bought these exact cards when I was on holiday last year, so Im glad I didnt! 5 more remaining months to collect. I bought a noudle crate in February and now it has arrived with only 4 noudles for 50 euro and i have to pay toll aswell for 22 euro?!?! Again, Im not too familiar with Sumikko Gurashi, but I seem to get something in every subscription box I get so I should probably get into it more! They continued this lie even after I sent them the email from DHL saying the items had not been received by DHL. Then Japan Crate tried to say customs clearance and international transit times were the cause of the delay, which is a blatant lie because DHL never received the parcel so there was no international transit or customs clearance. With regards to the crate, the packaging is amazing! Gacha Gacha Crate is collectable roulette capsule toys. I have been in contact with Japan Crate customer support. Next up was this Pokmon mug! Crates are really good! The pens on the left are blue fine-liners, and so cute! Ive loved getting subscription boxes throughout 2020, I think its brought me an edge of excitement to an otherwise dull and stressful year. I definitely would recommend Japan crate to anyone who is a fan of Japanese snacks or just wanting to try different things! 4 weeks after the parcel was supposedly sent, I wrote to DHL and they confirmed a shipping label was created, but the item had not been received by DHL. I know Ill definitely use these items all the time, so it feels like a really smart purchase over some of the items I was getting in other subscription boxes.
Send them a lot of emails regarding the shipping issue.
Its only 150 pieces, so it wont take me too long (although it has been a really long time since I did a puzzle, so who knows?). Up next was anAnimal Crossingsticker. Next up was this cute Rilakkuma pillow cover. I obviously collect a lot of anime merchandise, but I think theres something inherently different about buying a figure or plushie of a character you love, rather than one you just happen to get in a subscription box (looking at you, Donald Duck plushie). Theyre all chocolate themed, and were supposed to be for Valentines day, but thats obviously been and gone now. My shipment arrived in a well labeled box. At first I could not figure out what the blue item was, but its glue in the shape of a detergent bottle. Its really cute, and I do likeAnimal Crossingbut I dont have anywhere to put the sticker. I previously had a subscription to the Doki Doki Crate right before the pandemic affected shipping worldwide in the spring of 2020, and I still ended up getting both of my boxes with no problem once they were able to find an alternate shipping method. Ive noticed that a lot of things in subscription boxes tend to be quite food based. And Japanese stationery is just so much better than just the regular stuff I can get! All the snacks are new, unique, and delicious. This is bull$#*!! I love Japanese culture and snacks and as someone who has limited ways of experiencing that in my home country, Japan Crate is a blessing. They don't reply, customer service is nonexistent, it is not worth the money, the box took over 3 months to arrive, they are liars and scammers. The best box subscription! I suscribed quarterly last year. As I said in my Anime Limited unboxing, theres something about a mystery package thats really appealing to me I think really just boils down to the element of surprise and chance. The theme for Mays SoKawaii box was Cozy at Home pretty fitting considering I have been stuck in mine since mid-March! Products used:I love all the snacks specially the Kitkat bag bonus. Its very unique. For the first time order, Japan crate never disappoint me with the result. You get to try many types of snacks and flavors from Japan. The shipping is on the more expensive side, but as Japan is halfway around the world from here I don't really mind the charge that much. My children found the boxes' contents were good in terms of quality and quantity and the explanation sheet for items was very good. I love Japan and everything related! My lack of forward planning is clearly evident here as the Totoro toothbrush blends in with the colour of my coffee table perfectly, whoops! But if you do use my links, I appreciate your support. This fits me quite well, as I have a pastel aesthetic going on! The first thing that struck me when I opened up my mystery box was how many things were in the box. I also got a pencil that made me very nostalgic its one of the ones that you take out from the bottom and then put in the top to change the colour youre using. As I said before, I really love getting stickers so I can jazz up my bullet journal! Thanks for the feedback. Who could have predicted this? set, which is fairy tale themed mine are Alice in Wonderland, which is just perfect for me as Im not really a traditional fairy tale kind of person. Subscription boxes are like London busses, or something. Like my relationship with most things anime, theres a sort of bittersweet feeling as I was meant to go to the Studio Ghibli Museum during my cancelled Japan trip back in March, but the sting is becoming less strong! Overall experience was awesome.
