I don't know about 100e since we only have a couple hundred of those but we have thousands of 300e chromebooks. Every-single-one stopped charging or turning on within a few months.

Believe it or not, ACER chromebooks have been solid for us and I just screwed myself by typing that We have around a 50/50 split of HP and ACER. Can't be an OS error the physical charge light doesn't even work. Are we in for a nasty surprise? No power and they don't react to a charger. We are on our second year with Dell and I have had nothing but good experiences with their support. Pulled the battery and held down the power button, left them plugged in for days, left them unplugged from battery for days. This is a community of peers and all can lurk.

Id say I had about 10% do the same thing along with another small set that tweaks out and will only wake up if you plug them in until the screen fires up.
