I also have the keys to three of the neighbours houses, someone is their families are always forgetting or losing a key to get in to their homes.
I love our Walhub for this as you said, it works well when the light switch is right by the entryway. Can't see it unless you know where it is, so seems a safe place and no one looses his/her keys. Finally had to wake me to move my car. I grab whichever set I need on the way out.
For those who have a switch plate near the door, the Walhub from Upwell Design could solve the problem; just replace the existing switch plates with Walhubs.
If my husband had not been home, I would not have had keys to everything. I hang my Big O Key Ring on a kitchen doorknob or set them on the counter. I don't mind the concept of pay as you throw -- that makes sense -- but this often leads to excess bagging, because you put a kitchen bin-sized bag in the kitchen, and then later collect the trash into the town bag, now you have bag in a bag.
