I will say while I never loved this sketch it is clearly a favorite for McKinnon and given her departure, totally game to have it be the cold open. Agreed! Next: Kevin Lickitt (Carmichael) brings out Rhylee Rainbowlocks. Bradford (Kyle Mooney) is visiting his cousin (Heidi Garnder) in the Big Apple. A psychic in the audience, played by Chloe Fineman, keeps blowing up her spot. But otherwise, a 10-to-1 sketch this funny is a rare delight. "Be Sweet" is a happy, subversive bop. Season finales are always bittersweet, particularly with a show like this, which is made often in real-time, due to its nature. Always good to see Thompson embody the jovial, yet simmering football star. This is a pretty good take on the traumatic, violent event at last Sunday's Oscars.
